Trois Noix was founded by Jaime and her brother Greg in 2013. Meaning “three nuts” in French, the name was initially a nod to their children. The first year, they made just 300 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon. A few years later, Jaime bought her brother out of the business, continuing to develop and grow the brand. More than that, “Trois Noix” is about community and collaboration, curiosity and innovation, and using wine as a vector for change. Trois Noix was born out of a lifelong love of wine – not only what ends up in the bottle, but also how it got there, what happens when it fills your glass, and how it can bring a table to life and people together. The magic of wine – from making it to sharing it – is as a conduit to connection.

Jaime Araujo transitioned from a career in acting to the wine industry, studying at the University of Bordeaux and working in London’s wine scene. Her parents, Bart and Daphne Araujo, founded Accendo Cellars after purchasing Eisele Vineyard in Napa. In 2013, Jaime launched Trois Noix, a winery focused on producing balanced and fresh wines, including a range of whites, reds, and rosés. She credits winemaker Françoise Peschon as a key mentor. Trois Noix champions inclusivity and diversity in wine, supporting initiatives like Batonnage, which empowers women and Hispanics in wine. The winery is also a certified B Corp and Napa Green, committed to sustainable practices and social equity.
