Swallow Wines started from our visits with California winemakers. We share those experiences with everyone. We hand-sell every bottle. We tell its story, how it was made, the climate of the harvest year, and the winemaker behind it. Every bottle has a story.
Curated Wine Experiences for Every Occasion

Approachable Elegance
Our guided tasting changes monthly and features five wines served in 2-ounce pours. We showcase selections from 29 California winemakers, 130 labels, and 36 grape varietals. We'll get to know your palate and pour a sixth wine based on your tasting notes.
Trio of Elegance
A casual tasting on weekends only. Enjoy 2-ounce pours of 3 wines you select from a curated list of reds, whites, and rosés. Perfect for exploring our cellar and tasting your preferred grape varietals. Limited to walk-ins on the weekends. $25 per guest.
Elevated Elegance
A guided tasting of our most premium limited production wines, served using a Coravin without ever pulling the cork. Taste five Cabernet Sauvignon wines with 2-ounce pours. This is your chance to try exceptional wines without committing to a full bottle.
Swallow Grenache Wines
Discover the versatility and charm of Grenache, the grape known as Garnacha in its native Spain. Join us for a guided tasting exploring three distinct expressions of this remarkable varietal: red, white, and rosé. $50 per guest or $40 per Club Member.
Bottle or Glass Reservation
A bottle to share or a glass just for you. Book a reservation to enjoy a glass or bottle from our rotating menu. We’ll meet at our tasting counter to explore our extensive selections. Then, choose your favorite seating area to relax in our inviting atmosphere. Walk-ins welcome, though the experience may vary.
Groups of 7 to 12
Gather your group for a guided tasting like no other. For 7 to 12 guests, enjoy five expertly selected wines, poured and presented by one of our owners. Perfect for birthdays, team outings, or just because. $50 per guest, or $60 for a custom lineup (available for groups of 10 to 12 only).
Host in Elegance
For groups larger than 12, this is the only option. Seat up to 36 indoors, with space for 75 total across indoor and outdoor areas. We’ll curate a custom wine selection for your event. No bottle minimum required. Weekday rentals start at $500, weekends at $800 for a four-hour minimum.
Upcoming Events
Join our Meet the Winemaker events and other exclusive tastings. These intimate gatherings let you connect directly with the winemakers and enjoy limited-edition wines. Seating is limited to keep the experience personal and memorable.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, particularly if they seem to be under the influence of alcohol or substances.
To ensure a pleasant experience, all guests inside our tasting must be at least 21 years old, including infants, children, and teenagers. Outdoor space is available.
Animals
At this time, only animals that satisfy ADA requirements are allowed inside the tasting room. This policy is subject to change. Emotional Support Animals are not covered under the ADA. More about animals
Payments
We happily accept payments via Credit Card and Venmo payments for your convenience. Kindly note that we do not accept cash. In the spirit of our tip-free establishment, you're welcome to offer gratuity at your discretion.
Food
We kindly ask that no outside food or drinks be brought into the tasting room. If you would like to enjoy food in our outdoor space with your tasting experience, please contact us directly prior to making a reservation.
Parking
There is a limited number of parking spaces available on premise and ample free street parking located within walking distance from the tasting room on West Liberty Avenue.

You will not find our wines at H-E-B, Twin Liquors, Costco, Specs or Total Wine.

A Happy Place. A Wine Tasting Room. Not a bar. Swallow Wines is a permitted Texas Winery with a tasting room in North Austin, downtown Round Rock. We focus on providing an educational and non-intimidating guided wine-tasting experience.
What can I expect when I visit Swallow Wines?
Our goal is to create an atmosphere where you can design your own wine-tasting experience, one that's both educational and non-intimidating. We offer wine by a guided tasting flight, glass, or bottle, educational classes, food and wine pairings, and meet the winemaker events.
