At CRUSH Vineyard, the focus is on crafting bold, well-structured wines from sustainably grown estate grapes. Located in Paso Robles’ Adelaida District, their vineyard benefits from calcareous soils and coastal breezes—ideal conditions for their signature varietals, Tannat and Tempranillo. Their minimal-intervention approach in the cellar, using native yeast and French oak aging, results in dynamic, terroir-driven wines. Both grapes are uniquely suited to the region: Tannat offers deep color and robust tannins, while Tempranillo delivers bright red fruit and smooth, lingering finishes.

Denise and Scott Schramm turned their long-held dream into reality by moving from New York’s fashion world to California wine country, inspired by their daughters and a passion for wine. After purchasing an established vineyard in Paso Robles’ Adelaida District, they launched CRUSH Vineyard, focusing on small-batch, sustainably farmed, estate-grown reds like Tannat and Tempranillo. Their first blend, INCEPTION, marked both a family wedding and the start of their winemaking journey, partnering with Pulchella Winery. Since then, they’ve expanded their offerings, won major accolades, and opened a tasting room in Tin City, continuing to grow their presence in the Paso community.
